Little Bulldogs

Ages 4-7

5:30 - 6:00 PM 30 minutes

Warm Up

Use exercises on soft dice

Parallel Stance Punches

  • Use paddle for accuracy
  • Ensure proper fist structure and form

Front Rising Kicks

Basic kick introduction with focus on form

Paddle Drills

Front snap kicks using paddles

Game

Zombie Tag OR Monkey in the Middle

4 cones and roll the ball with the student having to jump out of the way

Junior Taekwon-Do

Ages 8+

6:00 - 7:00 PM 60 minutes

1 Warm Up

Jumping Jacks High Knees Butt Kickers TKD Burpees Jog Mats

10x reps each • Jog around the mats (stay on blue, not red mats)

2 Punching (By Grade)

Beginner Parallel Stance Punches
Yellow Stripe Sitting Stance Punches
Yellow Belt Fast Motion Punches
Green+ High / Middle / Low Targets

A White Belts Sparring Sets
  1. Left Leg out into Sitting Stance, forearm guarding block. Step together (going forward), reach out with your left arm and pull your right hand to your belt, step out into a left Walking stance with a reverse punch, then step back together and step back into a Sitting stance forearm guarding block.
  2. Step together, executing a lead leg side kick, landing into a left Walking stance with reverse punch, then step back together and step back into Sitting stance forearm guarding block.
  3. Step together, executing a lead leg turning kick, landing into a left Walking stance with reverse punch, then step back together and step back into sitting stance forearm guarding block.
  4. Step together, executing a lead leg hook kick, landing into a left Walking stance with reverse punch, then step back together and step back into Sitting stance forearm guarding block.

Judging:

Competitors face judges demonstrating sets. Perform twice on each side. Judges point to winner.

B Yellow Belts Sparring Sets (Green and Above)
  1. Left Leg out into Sitting Stance, forearm guarding block. Step together, executing a lead leg side kick and turning kick (without setting leg down), landing into a left Walking stance with reverse punch, then step back together and step back into Sitting stance forearm guarding block.
  2. Left Leg out into Sitting Stance, forearm guarding block. Step together, executing a lead leg double turning kick (without setting leg down), landing into a left Walking stance with reverse punch, then step back together and step back into Sitting stance forearm guarding block.
  3. Left Leg out into Sitting Stance, forearm guarding block. Step together, executing a lead leg hook kick and turning kick (without setting leg down), landing into a left Walking stance with reverse punch, then step back together and step back into Sitting stance forearm guarding block.
  4. Left Leg out into Sitting Stance, forearm guarding block. Step together, executing a lead leg side kick, landing facing away into Parallel Ready stance, spin side kick with right leg, then step back together and step back into Sitting stance forearm guarding block. (You will be on the right side now.)

Judging:

Competitors face each other demonstrating sets. Perform twice on each side. Judges point to winner.

5 Pattern

Tournament Pattern then Grading Pattern (if different)

6 Game

Relays OR Zombie Tag

Teen / Adult Class

Ages 13+

7:15 - 8:30 PM 75 minutes

Boxing Fitness Class

7:15 - 8:00 PM

💧 Water Breaks:

Valid during 45 second changeovers

Students may have water on the floor

Sparring Sets

8:00 - 8:15 PM

Same sets as Junior Class:

  • White Belt Sets (if applicable)
  • Yellow Belt Sets (Green and Above)

Patterns

8:15 - 8:30 PM

As described above - Tournament Pattern then Grading Pattern (if different)
